There is much to be said about the “definition” of hacking. Some follow the MIT definition, believing hacking is “the use of a thing or system outside of the context in which it was supposed to be used.” This can include the more commonly known “computer hacking” but it can also mean taking apart radios and using their components in other electronics, putting old motors into new RC cars, building potato cannons out of old drainage piping and more.

I believe strongly that the cyberpunk ethos needs a lot of this type of hacking, but this section of The Cyberpunk Wiki will be about computer hacking: wireless hacking, radio hacking, malware, software exploitation and more.
